Maybe you are wondering what happens after a campaign like this? This is a simple update on what’s been going on in Bohol…
Last Sunday Evening we had our ladies’ Bible study with five new ladies attending. Our weekly fellowship in the mountains of Bilar had about 30 people with many of them being newer ones.
God gave us a wonderful time of getting to know these students. They stayed back for a long time after the fellowship – some trusted Christ as their Savior, some got assurance of salvation, some received counsel about living as a Christian, and some simply rejoiced that their friends attended our follow up meeting!
In Clarin, about 40 students gathered, many of whom were also new. In Buena Vista, God gave us two new groups! We preached the gospel and they received! The Lord has also given 5 regular faithful young men there who we just began to teach how to share the gospel. This week they will put into practice what they have learned!
In Calape we also had two new groups. The first group we just made contact with and are praying that next time we can share the gospel/follow up, with the second group we were able to share God’s word and they made decisions! Please pray that we can be registered in Calape campus. It is a great challenge to find a place to have our bible study there.
In the Tagbilaran City Campus (TCC), we have a brand new group! They are the classmates of two of our regular students there. Because there is no place to meet inside the campus, they use their free hour to rush to our student center, hear God’s word and rush back to their campus just in time for their next class!
We praise God for this group as it is a long awaited answer to prayer for TCC. AMA and Informatics Institutes, two brand new opportunities for ministry, have both given verbal permission for us to have Bible studies on their campuses. We just have to fulfil the regular organizational requirements.
Our Friday Truth Seeker’s Night had 74 people in attendance last week! We have visited several of the High schools and talked to their administration about following up the students from the campaign. We are finding open doors on every side! Many text messages are flooding into our phones as students ask questions about God and how to join our bible studies.
Please pray! After being granted permission by the high school superintendent to preach the gospel in every high school between July 20-26, we decided to go back and request permission to return to the schools after the campaign. Just last Friday, he signed a letter granting us permission to have weekly evangelism and bible studies on EVERY HIGH SCHOOL in our whole province!
Please pray for our follow up and for the desperate need of more labourers. What you have read here is just what is happening on one of the five islands on which we minister.
The fields truly are plenteous, they truly are white unto harvest, and truly the labourers are few.

There was the old grandma who was being cared for by her daughter and son. One day as I was reading my Bible, the daughter asked me about it and I told her what I was reading. She was excited and told me that she had one too and was a part of God’s family. I knew there was something different about her. She took such gentle care of her… Read More....
A few months ago I was thinking to myself, “I don’t have any real China stories.” A ‘China’ story is the kind that can only happen to you in China (of course) but really sets your time here apart from anything else you’ve experienced in your life; it’s something that you think, “I’ve never experienced anything like this!” and somehow it changes you. Well, it finally happened. After two years… Read More....
