People make various excuses not to answer God’s call to world-wide missions. One such excuse goes like this, “I am not sure I can financially make it.”
There are many people who are deflected from missionary service because of the fear of financial insecurity.
To those who fear financial insecurity or to those who fear not having enough to live on-the Lord has these reassuring word, “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys” (Luke 12:29-33).
One thing is certain we can trust God to provide our needs. Do you remember Paul had received a love gift from the Philippians believers and in response he writes, “Indeed I have all and abound. I am full having received from Epaphrodites the things sent from you.” Then he gives this great promise, “My God shall supply all your needs” (Philippians 4:18-19).
One thing is for certain God’s servant will never lack God’s supply. Do not let the fear of finances hinder you from going to the mission field.

School has begun! I started teaching on Monday of this week. I am teaching in the English department of my school and am very excited to be working with my students. I have loved all my students from year one to now but because these kids are English majors their English is a little better so we can discuss more in-depth topics and get to know each other a little… Read More....
Over the last week I was privileged to take a couple trips to other places of interest in the northeast. As we drove across the land to our destination, I looked out upon miles and miles of well-manicured corn rows. No land is wasted; every square inch is used to grow something that is useful for living; very little if any land is left to grow just plain grass. Everything… Read More....
