    SMCI Negros evangelism campaign slideshow

This entry is Part 7 of 7 in the series Philippines 2009 Campus Evangelism

Here’s a slideshow of the outreach campaign in the campuses of Negros two weeks ago.

As you have already heard, on Monday the first day of the campaign in the little town of Bayawan, they encountered uncooperative staff who turned that day into a work-day for the students. The team was not allowed to witness to the students, unless it rained and the work had to stop.

    So, they prayed for rain!

On Wednesday, the team reached over 4,000 souls, and three-quarters of those made salvation decisions! Pentecost?

    The victory in Negros:
Number of Students who hear the Gospel: 15,372
Number of Students who make a decision: 11,218
    Thank you for your prayers!

And then I thought, maybe God makes beautiful things, not to make us happy, but for His own pleasure and because He just enjoys making and having beautiful creations.

This was about 4… Read More....

School has begun! I started teaching on Monday of this week. I am teaching in the English department of my school and am very excited to be working with my students. I have loved all my students from year one to now but because these kids are English majors their English is a little better so we can discuss more in-depth topics and get to know each other a little… Read More....
