Featured ArticlesThe missionaries of the 21st century - Whenever we think of effective missionaries to Asia or other undeveloped countries, we often think of Christian doctors. Many young Christians who want to serve their Lord have studied to be doctors....
Church-planting in RANs - I remember being charged by a member of the “mission board” of a church where I had recruited some English teachers for China. He charged me with “recklessly endangering” the lives of their members by sending them to China to be "slaughtered by the communists!" Because Bible-schools are not preparing their students for hostile countries, it is obviously follows that the mission methods that they teach are also not suitable.... It is the country with the largest Muslim population.... Evangelistic camping – an exciting new way to reach Asia’s youth - Camping attracts youth. Many youth are saved in a camp environment – where they are removed from worldly influences and exposed to much preaching of the Word. Asia has many youth. Our experience has shown that it is easy to attract even youth of different religions to a youth camp run by Christians.... Telecommunications in missions - In this age of telecommunications, money can be sent speedily. Reports and photos of the flood relief efforts can be sent to the donors via the internet. Discussions can take place between field workers and donors easily. In this age of telecommunications, we can turn every crises into an opportunity to show God’s love by our acts of love. Also through these acts of love, we can turn every crises into an opportunity to share the Gospel.... Recent Posts... |
