I had been to China before on business trips. I had felt like a fish out of water. I looked Chinese and was expected to speak Chinese but I couldn’t! However, I survived in the touristy places because some English was spoken in these places. But Uncle J was going to take us to visit the When the conference ended and when we bid goodbye to each other, I thought that it would be the last time that I would see Uncle J. I was busy with many Christian missions projects in several other countries. China was not a logical choice because I did not speak Chinese. I had failed Chinese language I am always amazed at how God opens doors in the Christian missions field! I am often asked “How did you get involved in China?” and my answer is “God opened the door for me and pushed me in!” In 2000 I was invited to speak at a conference of Chinese Christians in San Francisco.
