Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is a prosperous bustling city. Workers from many other less prosperous Asian countries flock to KL to look for work. Some come legally, many come illegally. Some come with job-agents and jobs waiting for them, many come looking for any job. On Sunday, these foreigners all gather in the heart The heart of Kuala Lumpur is like a mini-Asia melting-pot. It is a missionary’s dream place in Asia. It is as if God brought thousands from difficult-to-reach nations to this little patch of concrete to know God’s love. Besides the thousands of foreigners, there are thousands of locals in this place. The majority come to shop The little group of Filipinos were filling the living room of W and J’s condominium in downtown Kuala Lumpur each Sunday. These two lay-missionaries had stepped out in faith to plant a church in a “hard” part of the harvest-field in Asia and God had blessed their step of faith. So it was time to Five years ago, a young Filipino couple, W and J, worshipped at our church in Singapore. J had been saved in the Philippines. W, her husband was saved in Singapore.
