There are some missionaries who cannot ‘advertise’ their real identify that they are God’s servants, because they are working in restricted access nations (RANs). So, they do not compromise their security by taking photos, or emailing sensitive reports to the home church.
A few weeks ago, the small group which I am a part of which meets every Friday evening invited a missionary and his wife to our group. We had a great time of fellowship over dinner, and after that gathered for worship and fellowship in the living room.
This missionary is starting a new work in China, and possibly the only way for us, members of this small group, to know what he is doing is to ask him to come and share about his work with us. He brought no photos; he has not taken any. However, his sharing and clear presentation helped many of us who knew little of the China work to finally understand what was going on, so that we would be able to pray and support him.
We found out that he collects 3-in-1 coffee packs for his ministry. Err… do not ask why, but if you want to know, you can invite him to your small group for a talk. Anyway, our small group has undertaken to buy as many packs of coffee as he could carry.
We found out that he needs good Christian books in Chinese, and so we are looking at our bookshelves if we could donate any. If you have any to donate, do let me know!
We have also been invited to his place of ministry for a visit and to help conduct seminars. One member of our small group had already been there before.
We thank God for our missionary in China, who continues to labour so quietly but yet, he is doing his part in reporting and informing many brethren about his work whenever he returns to the home church.
The shock of everything is now starting to sink in and the dust is starting to settle some.

There was the old grandma who was being cared for by her daughter and son. One day as I was reading my Bible, the daughter asked me about it and I told her what I was reading. She was excited and told me that she had one too and was a part of God’s family. I knew there was something different about her. She took such gentle care of her… Read More....
A few months ago I was thinking to myself, “I don’t have any real China stories.” A ‘China’ story is the kind that can only happen to you in China (of course) but really sets your time here apart from anything else you’ve experienced in your life; it’s something that you think, “I’ve never experienced anything like this!” and somehow it changes you. Well, it finally happened. After two years… Read More....

These are ministries that we can evidently see the hand of God. They are sustain by God’s grace and God’s provision. In heaven many unknown laborers will be honored. Praise God. This is very encouraging…
Great !
Their reward is from the Lord. Well, most of us seek and get our recognition from people here on earth and our churches. Hope to be unknown here for works and to be known by the Lord.
