* God's Provisions *

I’d just returned a few days ago on Tues night from another trip to Cambodia. We had several first-timers with us; some of them had many, many questions before the trip but at the end of it, they had nothing but praises and thanksgivings for the blessings!
It has been a memorable trip particularly for both of us..the long rides are just worth it all. We had this rare opportunity to witness them – the church missions work, the children’s home school, children’s homes, the underprivileged but yet always cheerful and happy children. Thanks for the good company, the sea food, good weather, and His protection and guidance. – Leslie
It was indeed an eye opening trip for us all especially Lee May and me as it was our maiden trip to Cambodia. We had a good time, good food, good company and most of all good cause. We are looking forward to the pictures. – Magdalene
I always enjoy having first-timers with us on our mission trips, and one of these reasons is – the missionaries too were meeting these first-timers for the first time. They had to introduce themselves, and share stories, experiences and testimonies about themselves and their work. I have heard so many of these stories from Pastor Noe and Sister Grace that I could almost tell the stories myself!
Well, I’m sure they won’t mind if I do repeat a couple of these?
We were visiting the little farm at the children’s home in Prey Nob Cambodia, and Pastor Noe shared with the group, i.e. the first-timers who were admiring the vegetable plots, about how he acquired the piece of land.
He did not even purchase it in the first place! He had actually purchased an adjacent piece of land, which was further uphill and did not look suitable for farming, for a cheap sum of US$350/- some years ago. After the purchase, he had gone there to chop down the trees when a man he had never seen before suddenly appeared and demanded to know what he (Pastor Noe) was doing on HIS (the man’s) land and chopping down HIS trees!
But… I bought it, from so-and-so!
But this is MY land! You can’t buy it! Who sold it to you?
Errrr….!
Well, Pastor Noe sought out the first man who had sold him the land which apparently belonged to another, and the man asked him to take instead the piece of property adjacent to it i.e. the one that they now have and used for the farm.
A neighbour had recently offered to buy it for US$20,000.00. Well, it is not for sale, because the Lord provided it for our missionaries!
The shock of everything is now starting to sink in and the dust is starting to settle some.
The ultrasound specialist, after much trying, was finally able to see some of our unborn baby’s face and mouth and confirmed the cleft lip which is on the right side. She also said that she saw a gap in the hard palate which is the front of the mouth. It is… Read More....
There was the old grandma who was being cared for by her daughter and son. One day as I was reading my Bible, the daughter asked me about it and I told her what I was reading. She was excited and told me that she had one too and was a part of God’s family. I knew there was something different about her. She took such gentle care of her… Read More....
A few months ago I was thinking to myself, “I don’t have any real China stories.” A ‘China’ story is the kind that can only happen to you in China (of course) but really sets your time here apart from anything else you’ve experienced in your life; it’s something that you think, “I’ve never experienced anything like this!” and somehow it changes you. Well, it finally happened. After two years… Read More....

God really really provides all and above what is needed. This mission field is fodder for good grounding and sharing of modern day examples of miracles.
