    Experiencing God (4)

This entry is Part 4 of 4 in the series Testimony: Experiencing God

And the joy is, when God moves, we are left to be stricken amazed and praising Him. We processed our visa and government documents last October 12 and we got to the place on the eve of October 15. Between those days, obstacles may block our ways but we were just simply amazed at how time after time, God’s provisions came perfect and exactly in time.

Few hours before our flight to Manila, we were still facing government officers and racing for ships or buses to get to another island to just get our papers done. And while at the international airport waiting for the flight to China, my family and friends would even call or ask me “Are you really flying now? Have you got enough for the plane ticket? Are you sure today and not next week? I thought you’re still processing those papers?”

Questions of amazement and wonder that not even I perfectly knew how it all came to pass. And for this, God deserves all the glory. I am indeed grateful for the people and team He uses to serve. Even on being at wherever first is His wise guidance and loving provision on having us see first hand on how the work is being done. It’s His work and for sure He wants it done His own time, ways and purposes.

For the work ahead, it’s going to be an exciting adventure because it’s moment by moment by His grace, presence and sustenance alone. It’s a new place. We are humbled and privileged to be the trailblazers, and may we be found faithful, all because of Him alone.

Claiming and standing on Isa 46:11 and Ps 2:8.

    To God be all glory!

I remember the first time I saw the little purple flowers on the mountains in Tibet. They were soooo simply beautiful. And I thought, what a pity that no one but me may ever see these. And then I thought, maybe God makes beautiful things, not to make us happy, but for His own pleasure and because He just enjoys making and having beautiful creations.

    Dear Family and Friends,

As always, time goes by so quick. The spring semester flew by and now I am in the process of moving to a new city. After the whirlwind of activities over the last few months, I finally have a few minutes to catch my breath before summer camp starts so I thought I’d take a moment to update you on how He is working… Read More....

School has begun! I started teaching on Monday of this week. I am teaching in the English department of my school and am very excited to be working with my students. I have loved all my students from year one to now but because these kids are English majors their English is a little better so we can discuss more in-depth topics and get to know each other a little… Read More....
