As I was walking back from school this morning I started really looking around me (often I look around but don’t comprehend) and I started to think about all the things that I am thankful for but often take for granted. Thankfulness is something I often forget to practice. Just thought I’d take Have you ever had one of those weeks that just takes the wind right out of your sails? I haven’t had one in a long time but last week, by His hand, was one of those weeks. It wasn’t an easy week and I’m still struggling with some of the things that He I don’t remember how we met because I feel like I have known her… forever! I always like getting to know the Chinese teachers in my school, but with R it was different because actually our jobs had very little to do with each other’s work, and being in different departments, we didn’t have any During our meetings on the first day of the week, some friends and I are studying a great book that was written to a group of people called the Philippians. This week we studied the first chapter starting in verse 21. It states…”For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” This will be the last China update that I write for awhile. We are now less than a week away from going back to the States. It is hard to believe that we are actually leaving China for awhile. This has become home to us and it will definitely be hard to say goodbye. Lord I am now officially retired! Things are definitely starting to wind down here. Cade and I are both done teaching now. Cade still has a lot of responsibilities to take care of since he is the “boss” right now. He also has to help with a test next week. I was supposed to help with We give all of the glory to God for everything He is doing. One huge decision we needed to make was regarding insurance because our current insurance runs out the end of this month. A week ago my husband Cade called our insurance company in the US and asked details about staying covered with them The shock of everything is now starting to sink in and the dust is starting to settle some. The ultrasound specialist, after much trying, was finally able to see some of our unborn baby’s face and mouth and confirmed the cleft lip which is on the right side. She also said that she saw a gap |
