“He that drinks of the water that I give him shall never thirst again.” HE THAT DRINKS OF THE WATER THAT I GIVE HIM SHALL NEVER THIRST AGAIN!!! HEY!!! That is my freedom! What is this searching in my life? What is this restlessness? What is this thirsting for something more? Jesus is all that I need. Lately I had a good last-time with Class A on Thursday. We played Jeopardy with a review of things we had studied. They make everything fun and hilarious!!! It’s hard to explain it – just little actions like J & M slapping the desk (part of the game) to answer at the exact same time. I After my last class-meeting with my students, I studied Chinese and cleaned a little before my tutor Annie came over. Confession: I’m very proud person. I mean, I guess that is why I get so frustrated with Chinese classes. Because every correction and every struggle annoys me greatly, and it’s so hard not to show this As I was walking back from school this morning I started really looking around me (often I look around but don’t comprehend) and I started to think about all the things that I am thankful for but often take for granted. Thankfulness is something I often forget to practice. Just thought I’d take Have you ever had one of those weeks that just takes the wind right out of your sails? I haven’t had one in a long time but last week, by His hand, was one of those weeks. It wasn’t an easy week and I’m still struggling with some of the things that He I should start writing things down more. Otherwise all the little heart-warming blessings are lost in a sea of insignificant memories. While waiting for the bus today, i began talking with an older lady who had just picked up a girl from the elementary school on the hill near my campus. As we talked, more children It is amazing how much can happen within a two hour space… I went to the local animal market with my Chinese tutor Annie. As we walked down the street, I looked through the windows and open doors of the other shops, just curious about what kinds of places would be in this area… tool shops? |
