Dinner was over, and the utensils and plates washed by the team of youth assigned to the task that evening.
As it grew dim, the mosquito coils came out, and to my amusement, the entire mess hall at the campsite was soon surrounded by the “smoky incense” from the coils!
That evening was the official ‘kick-off’ of the youth camp – beginning with worship and singing, and several special numbers by the Cambodian children.
The message for the evening was on the ‘The Heart Of Worship”, preached by Pastor Vic. It certainly blessed the attentive congregation as they learnt what it meant to have a heart of worship, for -

such on the job appreciation training bodes well for our youths. Many came back with lives changed for the better. This trip is truly christian equipping exercise at it’s best, even better than my 13 years of ICT from reports I heard from my 2 teenagers.
